“Dub the Line,” the third release by Death by Dub on Color Red, is a direct reflection of the band within itself. The group thrives on collaboration and a deep-seated love for dub and reggae music. This track materialized in the studio while warming up and checking sounds. Each part was composed organically in the group setting by musicians with a longstanding history who prosper in coming together and doing what they love. The energetic, uplifting groove and dedication to paying homage to the genre’s forefathers situate the track nicely next to selections from The Taxi Gang, 10 Ft. Ganja Plant, and beyond.
